Get to Know Our Story

We are a small, dedicated company — based in the Paderborn region — working across Germany with a great deal of passion. We combine tradition and sustainability, champion the local cultivation of the lentil and develop our much-loved lentil blends for patties, biscuits and more. Our products stand for quality, regional roots and environmental awareness. But where did this story begin?

It Is 1996…

It all began in 1996 with a home on wheels and a big helping of adventurous spirit. At festivals, Petra experimented with healthy, delicious recipes meant not only to satisfy hunger but also to surprise her guests. With plenty of creativity and one small, unassuming ingredient — the lentil — something quite special was created: the lentil patty. What began as a festival idea became the foundation of the passion we live today.
